Why We Grow

The sunflower does not compete with the oak.

The fern does not envy the rose.

Each reaches toward the light in the only way it was designed to.

The garden asks for faithfulness.

Not comparison.

Growth isn't measured by standing taller than something else.

Only by becoming more completely what you were planted to become.
